Oh gosh, I wonder why I even BOTHER to give titles to my blog posts. So random, huh. So today turned out to be a much better day as compared to yesterday and the day before that and the day before that and the- Okay, I think you've got it. Teehee.
So anyway, today was the day of the choir party I was talking about earlier... Basically, from 10am to 12pm, all we did was sing and sing and sing until our throats got sore. Okay, actually just run through the entire programme thrice. But that alone is enough to kill anyone's throat, so I'm actually not exaggerating. YAY. It was practically just like any normal choir practice except for the fact that some other P6s came back at around 11.30 and Yan Tong's sis came back too. Oh, and Gaoly was wearing her hilarious ah-ma shirt again. The black one that she wore to underwater world, you know? Okay, I'm not exactly in a position to criticise her because I wore my graduation day shorts AGAIN. O.o
Anyway, after that we had to take a bus to some condo in Coronation Road that one of the choir members, Nicole, lived in. It was this really big place that had two(or was it three?) pools, one of them with a slide. And this really big playground, garden-ish outdoor function room and even tennis and squash courts. So posh, right? Our party thing was to be held at the outdoor function room, beside the playground. Everyone brought tons of food, that is, everyone except the P6s. And some other random people. Ah well, we weren't even TOLD. Erk. And so there was so much food, mostly chicken, chicken nuggets, BBQ chicken, chicken this and chicken that. Not to mention the thing that every party has tons of: CHIPS. There was even this french baguette basket which was brought by someone's mother. It came with this really yummy veggie dip. I ate lots and lots of that, it was so delicious!
After the food, we were asked to do some 'Golden Slip Hunt' game, which was really a silly game where we had to find so-called 'Golden Slips' which were pieces of scrunched-up paper with 'Golden Slip' written on them. Of course, our group(made up of all 7 P6s) found just 5 Golden Slips, whereas the other groups got much more, around eleven or twelve. Wenxin and I just strolled around the place mumbling about how the slips looked like rubbish. And surprise, surprise! One member found a slip in the grass, JUST LIKE RUBBISH. Haha.
So after that, nobody was quite as enthusiastic about games anymore and we just ate a lot more, fought to go on the swings and I was on the see-saw most of the time. Then Wenxin got on and I practically killed her. Then three other people got down and tried to weigh me down. Ah well, all it took was one hard bump and they all gave up. Whee. Too bad someone started killing ME then, forcing me to get off. Hmph. I went on the swing too but had to get off because someone had to push me really hard and I'm afraid of that, so HMPH.
After that, we played some Musical Chairs and 'Blow, Wind, Blow!' but that's nothing worth mentioning. And next, another crazy stampede to the playground for some, while others who were getting very hot indeed went to dip our legs in the pool. And Mr. Goh was happily snapping away at us with his camera... When we were done with the pool, the barbequeued chicken was ready to eat, and I took just one but alas, it wasn't cooked. So that sort of laid me off chicken. I liked the cooked ones, though. I must've eaten eight of those. After a lot more random chatting and fooling around, it was cake-cutting time. There was this super-chocolatey cake with 'Farewell P6s' written on it. After dragging our very reluctant choir president, Daphne, to cut the cake, I had two slices of cake and so did Wenxin.
Later, Mr. Goh and Mr. Chen played weird games with us like this game where you have to answer everything with a question, and the forfeit for losers is to eat a slice of cake, as the cake was so big that there was much more than half left after the cake-cutting. I got TWO slices, but halfway into the first one and I was ready to puke. So I decided to hold on to the cake first, later leaving it on the table and denying all ownership of it. Sneaky, huh.
So the rest of the time after Mr. Chen and Mr. Goh left, we did more fooling around at the playground before heading back to school on the bus. I took public bus home after that and had a very scandalous conversation with a P5 junior about loonies. Don't ask, seriously.
What an... amusing day? O.o
